‘The experience is just as important as the final product.’

Hedi Neijenhuis is a London based portrait, fashion, and unit stills photographer. Born in Zwolle, the Netherlands in 2000, Hedi moved to London in 2019 to study photography at the University of Westminster, where she is currently still a student. Here she developed her passion for working together with other creatives on projects.

Hedi’s biggest priority when it comes to her photographic practice is to make everyone involved comfortable and confident, from the models who are in front of the camera to the stylists working hard behind the camera. She believes a creative environment should be a safe space for all, and that creating the best ambience also creates the best possible results.

Recent fashion projects:

  • ‘Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse collection’ for Viliana Korueva.

  • ‘Plastic Problems’ for Bodawear.

  • ‘An Ill Fitting’ for Joseph Brimicombe.

Recent unit still projects:

  • UoW graduate film ‘Pulp by Rind’.

  • UoW graduate film ‘Ganymede’.

  • UoW graduate film ‘Leave the Light on’.

Hedi continues to seek work as a portrait, fashion and unit stills photographer and is currently available for new projects.
